Through our research we have found that one of the principal components to "who won draft?" in professional play is how strong the respective Champions are that patch.
However, as there is only a small sample size of games for each Champion at each patch it can be difficult to know the relative strength of each Champion
We've designed a method that uses a combination of high-elo Solo Queue and pro-play data to rank each Champion in the current meta.

As mentioned in this article, at the end of every patch we will compare our tier list to actual results.
The challenge is for each respective tier to perform better than the ones below it, that is: Champions ranked in S-tier should have a better average performance than an A-tier champion, and so on...
